I forgot about that part... I really need to reread Volumes 1 and 2 from start to finish again sometime to remember all those little things. XD

So the only thing Whip can't do then is say actual words or write because he has no fingers.

I actually like that Whip doesn't speak english, only talking in gibberish; he reminds me of Swampy from the Where's My Water app game. For the web cartoon's of Where's My Water, he never speaks anything intelligble, just gibber talk like Whip.

Besides, his babble really lightens the mood of the GNS =)

Mace and Whip are pretty intelligent, they just don't care about succeeding in socially-labeled intellectual pursuits. They have sharks to catapult.

And yeah, Whip reminds me of how people/animals talked in Banjo-Kajooie and The Sims. Happy memories.

And the shark catapults are why I'd think they and Scinter would get along rather well given the chance.

Especially when Mace discovered Scinter's selection of hand-held catapults. Also, Scinter and Igrath's propensity for mocking Grunn.

[Avast!! Spoilers]

Oh my God oh my God oh my God

Nabonidus doesn't just want Mace he also wants Whip

His orders were to kill the girls but ~keep the -BOYS- alive~

And Whip is becoming quite known for saving the skins of others in the group.

Mace has said as long as he can remember, Whip has been around.

What if Whip isn't actually that close to Mace's age?

We're just assuming he's something of an adopted sibling.

What if he was specifically placed in charge of protecting Mace?

He will attack things several hundred times his size to rescue others.

I don't think Whip is your run-of-the-mill orphan with a cute little appearance and whom speaks gobbledygook.

I think Whip has a lot more than meets the eye to him...

Kinda fits with my "Mace and Whip are the same person"/"Whip is Mace's familiar" theory from the Mace thread.

Its either that or Whip was planted by someone other than Troika because they dont know why Mace is valuable.

That is true, the Troika are in the dark still about Mace's role. They know he's important, though, and I can understand that being enough for them to be content with.

If Whip is a familiar. Then that means Mace can...instantly create life.

Or he can summon creatures. That would be cool.

I kinda think whip has his own power, and I'm really wondering what it is. I think its something like a goat or Kirby... he can eat anything and change size to eat it (within acceptable shifting limits).

Isn't it known already? I have telekinesis in mind.

Yep telekinesis would allow him to fly around.
