The position of the tv doesnīt look healthy because it isnīt for use with the chair :D
But its ~3 meters away from the bed, where my bluetooth-keyboard is placed ^^
Perfectly comfy for browsing or watching stuff :)
Those are some nice trophies in that cabinet, hehehe
That is a very nice computer setup. I really want one like that but I really can't afford it :c
Anyway, would you like to see me wearing chemical battlefield equipment or doing maintenance work on my helicopter? TOO BAD! You don't get a choice! You get both pics. Hooray!
Just in case you were thinking about it, I do not give out free helicopter rides, though I am required by law to discount them until I finish my CPL(H)
@CoSinus & DudesDude: Supposedly it's not unhealthy to sit close to new tvs, only the old tube televisions were bad for you up-close. My set up is almost the same except the tv is for chair use =D
Here's my framed album artwork. just replaced them today :3
Well old habits die hard Canthui :3
So, unhealthy or not, itīs a mess for me to watch into that large tv from a small distance because Iīm as blind as a mole and therefore need strong glasses, makes my brain hurt sometimes >.<
@Scorpio : Cool stuff, but neither canīt assign the right one to a band nor read the writing, whatīs it ? :D
Are you just fan/collector, or musician too ?
You could say that I'm both. I taught myself how to play guitar and took piano lessons during elementary school.
Also, the albums in there are Def Leppard "Pyromania", The Doors "Alive She Cried!" and Aerosmith "Toys In The Attic"
I too can play the piano, I can get halfway through God Save The Queen! We should make a DK band
When TVs first came into use, the poor understanding of their technology lead people to believe, coupled with a note in the instructions, that TV's weighed more when they were switched on. The note read: Ensure the TV is unplugged before attempting to move it.
I am not sure if this is an urban legend or if it is true, but I don't really care. It's a decent one at least.
Also, this flew over my "house" today
I like helicopters.
Dude, a DK band sounds awesome haha let's pitch that idea to Dave XD
Why does Nicolas Cage look good in anything.
I will be unable to go onto what is left of live chat tonight (hopefully there be a return of normality for Mr Dave and Mrs Liz soon) but I have had a very defining day today.
2 words: Fun. Stressful.
Also, the bicycle ruined my trousers
Edit: I forgot to mention, that was the first time the instructor has been on the outside of the aircraft during a lesson
So this was the first time you were flying alone? :o
That is correct. How it works is that the instructor and student (me!) board the aircraft and go through all the preflights as per usual. The student, with talkthrough from the instructor will perform a normal circuit around the airfield. During the circuit there will be talk of emergency procedures and possibly a demonstration. Upon arriving back at the starting point completing the circuit, the instructor will leave the aircraft and the student has to make the circuit without any help.
Upon taking off, I displayed a very calm and professional demeanor. This is not reflecting of what was going through my head, which was more "ERMAGURDNOPILOTWHATIFISCREWTHISUPAAAAAAAH!"
I got a couple pictures for this thread:
I did some mountain biking today and found a random swing on a tree in a middle of the field. Of course I had to try it out: https://www.dropbox.com/s/i45q5th7azfmjd6/2014-07-27%2011.05.06.jpg
That was probably the safest swing ride I ever had. XD
Also, my cat may have a drinking problem...
