Share some of your favorites be it console or computer arcade, from any era, you name it.
Here are some of the games I played as a kid.
This was the game I played the most as a kid, I loved the for its time futuristic graphics and lovable cast of anthro animals.
Zelda A Link to the Past: 1991
This was the first game I ever played that took me on an epic adventure through a fantasy world with different dungeons.
Donkey Kong Country 3: 1996
Long after most developers abandoned the SNES, I love all the Donkey Kong Country games, but this one was always my favorite as there was such a huge detailed world to explore and so many secrets to discover it made me into the platformer completionist I am today.
Super Star Wars: 1992
As a kid Star Wars and video games were my two favorite things, so a Star Wars video game was like to my young mind, there were games for each film and they were hard for new comers, but they were beatable with patience and practice.
Secret of Evermore: 1995
Not sure of to many people remember this one, but it was one of the first action RPGs I ever played. A bizarre story of a kid and his dog who are spirited away to a world of science fiction and fantasy. The story is revealed more and more as you play and explore.
Mystical Ninja: 1992
My first real taste of stereotypical Japanese culture, the game was a strange 1P-2P platforming adventure where each level half exploring the town area to buy items for the other half that was a challenging platforming section ending with a boss, I loved it.
Yoshi's Island: 1995
This was a fairly challenging platforming, with a lot of creative level designs, boss battles, and an amazing crayon art style.
Final Fantasy VI: 1994
Originally released as Final Fantasy III in the U.S. I think most of us know by nows its actually the 6th installment in that series, a true testament to console RPGs of that era and an incredible accomplishment both gameplay and story wise.
Super Metroid: 1994
Exploration is the key, there's no hand holding as you must venture into the catacombs of an massive Alien world to uncover its secrets. I always love when a game doesn't keep you on rails, I just love the maze like over world. It also has some pretty decent enemy's power ups, and boss battles.
These are about all I'm going to talk about for now, cause I could go on forever. I just stuck with a few from my SNES years since that's where I started from as a gamer.
|Metroid fusion (gba) 2002.|
I played a lot of handheld games. And this was many of my favorites.
Pokemon red (gbc) 1998
This was the first time I played a game like this, it was pretty awesome. And enjoyed every moment of it.
Legend of Zelda a link to the past with the four swords adventure. 2002
Again I played a lot of GBA, and GBC back then. And this was one that took me a long time to complete, but it felt worth it. This game was so much fun that it I liked playing this game a lot. And I played the four swords adventure with my twin. But some how he always managed to get more rupees then me. X3
Yoshi Island (SNES) 1995.
This game was by far something my twin could get around. XD
This was like very fun because you have to take Baby mario all over the place. :3
I have many more, but I don't want to flood it. X3
|Grandia 2 (2000)|
A RPG that has a timer instead of a classic turn based type into it. Also, the story in very nice and emotional. I didn't play the first one and the third, though, but this is good enough for me.
Ragnarok Online (2002)
The first ever mmo that I have ever played. I was prbably 5 year old back then. XD
There is Ragnarok 2 now and I'm playing it, though. But when I look at it, I cannot help it but look back to the first one, and as nostalgic as its peak.
Animaniacs A Gigantic Adventure (1999)
one of the rarest games of Animaniacs. To prove it, you can rarely find any gameplay in the youtube. Played this since I was little as well. And honesly, I don't remeber what level I am on.
Garfield: Caught in the Act (1996)
Well, this game is old for me, but I kinda played this late, probably just spotted this at the edge of the program menu games when I was a teenagar. Quite memorable though.
Metal Slug 3 (2000)
There is no better gameplay of 2d shooting than Metal Slug (There is for me, but I will announce that on the last). I mean, who can not have such a good game such as this. Although, this is just second to me, the first one that really nostalgia me is below.
Metal Assault (2011)
Oh boy, for me, this game is the best. It's actually very like Metal Slug, but with cooler graphics and PVP! YEAH! I really love this game so much, and it greatly affects my childhood, in a good way. Too bad it shut down early. You'll be forever missed, my recent childhood that changed me.
