Anduruna is the largest DreamKeeper city in
the Dreamworld. The city itself is massive, spreading across
an entire coastline and to mountains to the northwest. The city
is so expansive, that it once took days to traverse it. Within
the last 20 years however, a new transit technology has been
developed to allow easy movement from district to district.
Anduruna is made up of seven districts, which radiate out from
the center like the spokes of a wheel. Every district of the
city has a distinctive cultural environment. - they range from
poor to rich, colorful to dreary, exciting to depressing, and
everything in-between. Anduruna is a democratic city, electing
their leaders bi-annually. The highest ranking political power
is the Viscount of the city. The Viscount sets the trade laws,
regulates economic statutes, determines the captain of the city
guard, and regulates policy on any number of issues. One such
issue is the recent limitation on weaponry and lethal instruments
in the city. After several outstanding murders took place, it
was deemed by the Viscount that it was needless for any of Anduruna's
citizens to have tools which are designed soley for murder.
It is even being considered whether it is necessary for the
city guard to carry weapons, as there are no known foreign enemies
of the city. Even if there were, Anduruna is encircled by an
ancient, massive, red wall, the origins of which precede the
historical archives. It is assumed that at some point in the
distant past, the wall was built as a defensive barrier against
enemies. No serious threats to Anduruna's security are now known
to exist - theiving bandits living outside the city walls are
the worst of their problems.
