Commissions are now available!
An art commission consists of custom artwork, created personally for you by the artists of the DreamKeepers graphic novels, Dave & Liz! Your commission can be anything! Renditions of personal characters are frequent favorites. In fact, when ordering a commission, you get the chance for your character to be featured in the background of an upcoming DreamKeepers book as a crowd extra!
All commissions include a digital, web-ready JPEG image of the art, in addition to the original signed drawing and a print of the finished artwork sent to you in the mail.
Please read through the rules and conditions below, and start thinking of what you’d like to have as your commission!

To get a commission:

The conditions below I retain for my own sanity and legal protection. Please read through (there are cartoons), and then use the button at the bottom to proceed to the checkout page.

First condition - if you purchase a commission from me, you aren’t allowed to sue me over it later. Now most people out there don’t need to hear this, but for that one special soul who trips on the sidewalk and rushes to sue the city for neglecting to post gravity-awareness signs, I have to include this stuff.
I frequently use commission characters as extras in big crowd shots in my books. If you would prefer I not include your character, inform me, and I’ll do my best to honor your wishes. However, I may forget or make a mistake. If you commission me, you acknowledge the risk that your character may be placed into a crowd shot in one of my books. You still own the copyright for your character, but you are officially permitting me to use your character, in a limited capacity, as an extra in my books, with no compensation and no written agreement beyond this one. Also, it is possible that some of my character designs, past or future, could bear coincidental resemblance to your character, or be unconsciously influenced by my exposure to your character. If you commission me, you waive any right to file a lawsuit against me (Or Vivid Publishing, or anyone related to my publishing activities) for copyright infringement on your character. By commissioning me, you are agreeing to the letter and spirit of these conditions. By the way, it’s not like I actually have money.

Second condition - I don’t do revisions on commissions. Once it’s complete, I can’t return to it and incorporate changes, as it wouldn’t be fair to keep the next person in line for a commission waiting. For this reason I need to have, written in an e-mail message, a complete description of what you want your commission to look like. Include any physical descriptions and details you want to see, costuming, reference pictures, etc. Now, I am perfectly happy to go back and make corrections - if there’s something in your e-mail description that I messed up or forgot, please tell me and I can fix it! But if it’s not included in your up-front description, it won’t be included in the commission, and I can’t add it in later.

Third condition - I like to post up finished commissions in my website gallery, as well as art communities like DeviantArt and FurAffinity. This condition is somewhat flexible - if there is a reason that you want your commission to remain private, please e-mail me before you purchase the commission so we can discuss it. I enjoy sharing art online, and knowing that other people will never be able to see the work may influence me to decline your request for a commission.
However, if you would like to be mentioned or linked to when I post the art, that’s totally fine- just let me know.

Couple of other quick things:

Commissions may take several weeks or longer to complete. If at any time the wait is becoming too long, you are absolutely free to request a refund, with no questions asked, and no hard feelings! It's your money, after all.

I will begin working on your commission sometime after both payment and the full-description e-mail are received. We cannot guarantee that your commissioned character will be included in the graphic novel, based on the scenes needed, and the possibility of forgetfulness. If it's important for you that your character is included as an extra, e-mail us and we'll be sure to do our best!

By clicking this link, I attest that I have read, understood, and graciously acquiesced to all of the above conditions. Now, take me to get a commission!
