The story behind this illustration is an interesting one… For Christmas in 2007, we had a contest on the website where people submitted various seasonal illustration ideas, and then voted on the one which they wanted to see drawn out and finished. The one that won entailed Grunn as an unwilling mall Santa Claus. From the gruns on Scinter and Igrath, I like to think that he’s in this predicament through losing a bet of some kind... I wonder how long he’d be able to put up with this sort of thing before a kid gets pummeled across the Yule-tide display.
