Facebook Pages:
Liz and I (David) have personal facebook pages online,
but they aren't posted up here. We use our facebooks mainly
to keep in touch with family and local associates, and are
declining additional friend requests.
We don't do this in an effort to isolate ourselves from readers
- odd as it sounds, the intent is the opposite. Focusing on
artwork so much, it often takes me awhile to reply to e-mails
and messages on various accounts. Adding another public account
to the que, especially one with the increased applications
and interactivity of facebook, would result in even more difficulty
in maintaining contact with readers and fans. So please don't
take it amiss if we ever decline a friend request on our personal
facebooks - and feel free to send us an e-mail any time! 8
